 Announcements

  • 1/20: Welcome to EEE 51!
  • 1/28: This term we will be using Piazza for class discussion. The system is highly catered to getting you help fast and efficiently from classmates, in addition to the instructors. Rather than emailing questions to the teaching staff, I encourage you to post your questions on Piazza. Find our class page here.
  • 1/30: HW #1 is here. Due Friday, 2/6, 5pm. (Updated 2/2, please download again) (solution: p1 p2)
  • 2/9: HW #2 is here. Due Friday, 2/13, 5pm. (solution)
  • 2/15: HW #3 is here. Due Friday, 2/20, 5pm. (solution)
  • 2/23: HW #4 is here. Due Friday, 2/27, 5pm. (solution: p1 p2)
  • 2/27: HW #4 deadline moved to Friday, 3/6, 5pm.
  • 3/5: For HW #4 no. 2, just set up the equations and explain how the expressions for ID1, ID2, and Vod can be derived. WFU/WFW classes will not meet tomorrow (3/6).
  • 3/9: HW #5 is here. Due Friday, 3/13, 5pm. (solution)
  • 3/11: Starting today, WFU and WFW classes will be held in Rm 123.
  • 3/13: HW #6 is here. Due Friday, 3/20, 5pm. (solution: p1 p2 p3) (updated solution – there are still some wrong calculations for Rin3 here, but try to understand the solution flow)
    • 3/18: Note that due to an instructor’s (LPA’s hehe) oversight, please assume that Q1 is in the forward active region, even if its collector-emitter voltage is below the saturation voltage.
  • 4/5: HW #7 is here. Due Friday, 4/10, 5pm. (solution)
  • 4/13: HW #8 is here. Due Friday, 4/17, 5pm. (solution)
